Roberts Running Club will start Tuesday, September 10th at 6:45 am under the covered area!!!

The Roberts Running Club was founded in 2014 by PE Coach Jack Alexander to build a strong foundation of physical activity, camaraderie and a healthy lifestyle in our children. Last year was a huge success and we owe a HUGE thank you to Coach Alexander, Ms. Epps, the Roberts PTO, and the many volunteers that made Running Club possible! The regrading of the fields is almost complete and the new track has been poured, so we expect the upcoming year to be great as well.

Erin Fox is continuing as Running Club Chair/attendance parent this year and we look forward to an exciting year of health and fitness! Please let me know if you want to volunteer (runningclub@robertspto.org).

Please check back on this blog for updates, weather cancellations, community race information, etc. We are updating the sign up forms on the PTO website, so be sure to go to the PTO website after Labor Day.

Lastly, Coach A would like all parents to keep in mind that Running Club should be fun for everyone. If your child is up late doing homework or at another sports practice or game, please don't hesitate to let them sleep in. Sleep is just as important as exercise!

Running Club Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:45am-7:15am - starts Tuesday, September 10th

At 7:15, the kids go to the cafeteria for breakfast and to wait for the class bell at 7:25
